As part of LBBC’s 150th anniversary celebrations, we were delighted to welcome current and former colleagues who have all played a part in the company’s story over the years.
One particularly special guest was Paul, a former LBBC employee who joined us to celebrate this latest milestone, having also attended both our 100th anniversary and 125th anniversary celebrations.
When invited to attend the event, Paul replied:
“Yes, I would love to celebrate the 150 years, did the 100 and the 125 so might as well get a hat trick.”
His response perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
To have someone who has shared in three major LBBC anniversary celebrations across five decades is a remarkable reminder of the history, heritage and people behind our business. While buildings, technology and industries have evolved over the years, it is the people connected to LBBC who have helped shape the company’s journey and success.
As we reflected on 150 years of engineering excellence, stories like Paul’s served as a powerful reminder that milestones are about much more than years in business. They are about the generations of people who have contributed their skills, knowledge and dedication along the way.
Having former colleagues alongside current employees helped make the celebration even more meaningful, connecting LBBC’s past with its present and future.
