Last week, Nick Hall, Sales Engineer at LBBC, delivered a presentation on dewaxing and ceramic core leaching at the European Investment Casters’ Federation (EICF) Education Course in the Czech Republic.
The annual one-week programme brings together graduates, engineers and experienced foundry professionals from across the investment casting industry, providing participants with a deeper understanding of key foundry processes and technologies.
Drawing on LBBC’s extensive experience in investment casting, Nick presented on both the practical and technical aspects of the dewaxing process, as well as the science and engineering principles behind ceramic core leaching. LBBC has a long history of supporting investment foundries worldwide through its specialist dewaxing and core removal technologies.
The course was well attended, with delegates engaging actively throughout the programme. Following the presentation, Nick took part in a question-and-answer session, providing attendees with the opportunity to discuss industry challenges, share knowledge and explore best practice with fellow professionals.
