Howard Pickard has been awarded the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award by the European Investment Casters’ Federation (EICF), during a celebratory Gala Dinner at the 33rd EICF International Conference & Exhibition held in Liverpool.
In a unanimous decision by the EICF Board of Directors, Howard was selected for this prestigious accolade in recognition of his extraordinary and enduring contributions to the advancement of foundry and investment casting technology. The Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the highest honours granted by the Federation, recognising individuals whose careers have significantly shaped the evolution of the investment casting industry.
Throughout a distinguished career spanning three decades, Howard has earned wide respect for his unwavering dedication to innovation, technical excellence, and the modernisation of manufacturing processes. His work has advanced the technical frontier of investment casting and influenced best practice across Europe and globally.
The timing of this recognition was especially fitting, coinciding with Howard’s transition from Managing Director to Chairman after 30 remarkable years. Receiving the award in his home country made the occasion even more meaningful, marking a significant milestone in both his personal and professional journey.
