Stuart Lockwood is celebrating 25 years of service as a Design Engineer for LBBC.
Stuart has enjoyed many projects over the years but the one that stands out for him is the trip to Germany with Managing Director, Howard Pickard.
” I had reached 45 years of age and never been abroad for any reason.” says Stuart. “So when Howard told me I was to accompany him to Hanover, Germany to visit a customer with the second part of the journey being by a twin propeller plane from Amsterdam to Hanover, it left me a little uneasy! But since then, I have been abroad almost every year on holiday and I have Howard to thank for that.”
Stuart also saw LBBC turn 125 years old and celebrated with colleagues and Directors, Howard and Robert Pickard.
Jim Alexander has worked along side Stuart since the day he started at LBBC. “Stuart hasn’t changed since much since joining LBBC 25 year ago, just less hair!” laughs Jim. “He’s a great asset to our team, mentor to our apprentice and always there to lend a helping hand. Thanks for everything Stuart.”
Congratulations Stuart!
